Autumn Fun in New Hampshire

A gorgeous fall day is the perfect time to explore the stunning Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Set aside some time to spend in the charming town of Meredith, located on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. Putter around the shops at Mill Falls Marketplace. If you’re a foodie like me, have a bite to eat at Giuseppe’s or Sunshine & Pa’s. You won’t be sorry! For those with a sweet tooth (me!), fill a bag with tempting treats from Lee’s Candy Kitchen.

If you love specialty foods as much as I do, you’ve got to see the wonderful goodies at Moulton Farm. Grab some cranberry relish and a fresh, warm, homemade cider doughnut. Get lost in a corn maze, pick out a pumpkin, and enjoy their other fun fall activities too!

While you’re in the area, be sure to check out The Old Country Store and Museum in nearby Moultonborough. It’s been around since 1781 and is well worth the visit.

In beautiful Wolfeboro, relax on a scenic lake cruise aboard the Winni Belle or the M.S. Mount Washington. Or just get out there with your own boat or kayak! After a busy day, satisfy your craving for great seafood at the Wolfeboro Dockside Grille and Dairy Bar.

What goes better with great food than great music and great wine? Take in a concert, see a performance at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, or visit a winery or brewery.

Be bold and adventurous. Explore the great outdoors on foot, in a sailboat, in a golf cart, or by zipline!

Whether you want to stuff your face with delicious food, do some rock climbing, hiking, and biking, or just go for a drive and bask in the spectacular scenery, the Lakes Region has it all!
