Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at Lee's Candy Kitchen

Strolling around Meredith, New Hampshire on a beautiful fall day is almost ideal. But not quite. Not until you stop by Lee’s Candy Kitchen in the Mill Falls Marketplace. In addition to all the fun retro candy you’ll remember from your childhood (like wax bottles and Abba Zabbas), you’ll be tempted by their decadent variety of gourmet chocolates and fudge.

I usually head straight for their chocolate raspberry hard candies. But this time, I was in the mood for truffles. So I devoured a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. My favorite flavor combination, hands down. The dark, bittersweet chocolate mingles perfectly with the sweet, slightly tart raspberry. The Kahlua Truffle was a luscious mix of chocolate and coffee flavors. In honor of autumn, I finished with a milk chocolate maple cream. It captured autumn in New England in one bite!

It may be unthinkable to chocoholics, but some people are not fond of chocolate. Not to worry. Lee’s also carries specialty foods like pretzels, nuts, and Mike’s of Maine pickled products (You must try pickled garlic. It adds new dimensions of pizzazz to your recipes).

If you don’t live in the area, you can still get your Lee’s fix by ordering a box (or many boxes) of their chocolates. Lee’s will ship your order to you before you expire from chocolate deprivation.

Go ahead. Make your visit to Meredith perfect with a visit to Lee’s Candy Kitchen.
