Captain Frosty's: A Cape Cod Tradition

If you're planning on going to the Cape this summer, a stop at Captain Frosty's is a must. They've been serving up delicious fried seafood to hungry locals and tourists for over 40 years, and it's earned them the title of "Best Fried Clams" by Cape Cod Life, among other awards. This delightful Mid Cape clam shack in Dennis, MA offers sandwiches, seafood rolls, and mouth-watering combo dishes, so bring your appetite!
I've had their succulent lobster rolls before, so this time, I had the fish & chips. As you can see from the photo, you'll get a huge portion of crispy fried fish, cole slaw, a couple of addictive Rhode Island-style clam fritters, scrumptious fried clam strips, and french fries. Because the seafood is fried in heart-healthy 100% canola oil, the crust is feather-light and amazingly non-greasy. Every item on the plate is cooked to crispy perfection and balanced nicely by a fresh, tangy cole slaw. Captain Frosty's also serves decadent desserts, so (try to) save room!
