Stop By for a Taste of Maine

Now celebrating their 40th year in business, the Gregory family proudly serves up succulent Maine lobster and fresh seafood at Taste of Maine Restaurant in Woolwich. The giant inflatable lobster on the roof, the fascinating antique collectibles that fill the restaurant, and the lovely views of Pleasant Cove will catch your attention. But it’s the scrumptious seafood that will hold your attention and keep you coming back for more. When you’re in Maine’s Midcoast, never pass up an opportunity to enjoy a lobster roll, especially one that’s piled as high with sweet lobster as the one served here. I’m a purist when it comes to lobster, so I ordered my roll without mayo, butter on the side (so I can add as much butter as I want. And I want a lot). My sweet potato fries were also hot, crispy and delicious. Rounding out the fresh seafood selections are haddock, clams, scallops, and more.

If you’re feeling especially adventurous (and ravenously hungry), come with a group of friends and order “The Word’s Largest Lobster Roll” to share. This gorgeous mammoth is the equivalent of about 6 of their average-size lobster rolls, which is already huge!

Meat lovers needn’t fear. Taste of Maine’s got you covered with a selection of juicy, tender steaks. If you’re torn between two loves, choose from the tempting surf-and-turf items. There are also a host of tasty selections for vegans and pasta fans.

Whether you’re a tourist or a local, come by and enjoy friendly service, a fun atmosphere, and a true Taste of Maine.
