Family-owned and operated since 1981, this award-winning restaurant cuts out any go-between and gets their fish whole, directly from fisherman with whom they’ve conducted business for over 30 years. Your choice of fish is then straightforwardly mesquite-broiled to let the fresh flavor of the fish shine through. If you wish, it can also be blackened or served with your choice of sauces or a mango salsa.

This time, I had the tender, flaky Mahi Mahi, served on a bed of fluffy rice with perfectly prepared asparagus and mango salsa. A little sweet, a little spicy, and a whole lot of scrumptious. My advice is: Don’t be afraid to try fish or flavors that are unfamiliar to you when you dine here. When fish is this fresh, it’s impossible to regret any decision you make. Who knows? You may just discover a new culinary love. Gluten-free options are also available.

On your way in or out, be sure to take time to admire their on-site fish market, which carries a hand-selected assortment of over 20 types of fin fish, 10 shellfish varieties, and their award winning clam chowder.
