My Writing Process

First Phase: Conversation
Our initial discussion, either by phone or in-person, will cover your specific copy needs in-depth. I'll also answer any questions you may have.
After we’ve had a chance to discuss your project, I’ll e-mail you a proposal that will include writing fees and other requirements to complete the job. It will also state my understanding of the project, including scope, time frame, and final deadline. After you’ve reviewed the proposal, please get back to me with any questions you have or changes that you'd like to make.
When the proposal meets your expectations, just sign it and e-mail it to me. Unless stated otherwise, the signed proposal will serve as a contract between us.
Initial Writing Process
Once I finish any necessary research, I'll begin work on your project. As soon as it is ready (normally within 2-3 business days), I’ll send you a first draft for your review. If revisions are needed, I’ll send you the revised copy by the revision deadline.
You'll have the opportunity to review the copy prior to the project deadline. I’ll make as many revisions as necessary to make sure you’re satisfied. In addition, revisions desired after deadline can be done by negotiating an appropriate revision fee at that time.
Final drafts will be sent to you on or before the project due date. After having discussed the project and making any revisions, the final copy will meet your specifications.
